We arrived yesterday, Nov 26, around 4:pm. Our flight took us right over Cardston and we could see our home. We were trying to be strong and not cry, and we almost made it.
We are now here and the reality is hitting us pretty hard but we are also completely excited.
Last night we went out to a restaurant here in Orem called Malawi Pizza where they donate a meal to an orphan in Malawi for every pizza purchased.
It was a lot of fun. An interesting concept for a restaurant. We are really looking forward to actually being in Malawi, meeting real people and getting to work.
We are also really looking forward to our MTC experience to finish off our preparations.
