Some Extra Pictures from our Liwonde Safari

Impala females

Harem boss!
Baby water buck.
Female Water buck, a very plentiful species.
A pair of males squaring off !

The fight lasted about 20 seconds.
Nice Male.
Pumba racing a baboon.  Baboon wins!

Giant Egret eating an eel.

Heron hunting.

African fish Eagle, he looks a lot like a Bald Eagle but a big bigger.

African Bee Eater, they are tiny but so pretty.

Our ground Hornbill again, so ugly.

This is one of 7 species of Kingfishers in the Park, he can hover for up to 10 minutes.

These ducks were sitting on top of a 10 foot high termite mound.  Less chance of a croc attack I guess.

This is an Ibis and a king fisher together.
One more shot of the horn bill.
Two more shots of the rock Python.  They can grow up to 7 meters and are Africa's largest snake.

There is a herd of Elephants out in the marsh

This boy was quite angry with us. He postured, false charged, blew snot, trumpeted, shook his head and stomped trying to get us to leave.  Quite a show

Baboons doing what baboons do best, nothing.

Going for a ride.  So cute!

Chillin'!!

Elephants and Hippos, always the favorites!!
