New fonts

This is how all mothers (and sisters, aunts, grandmothers, neighbors etc) carry little ones, usually till they are about 3 or bigger if needed. The babies always seem so content and the mother still has both hands free to do anything from washing laundry to hoeing the garden. If the baby gets hungry, the mother just swings them around to the front and, voila! This little guy is the first one we took to the hospital to be born. Feb. 28 and look how big he already is!

We just got new baptismal fonts and everyone thought the perfect place for the one at the Lilongwe Branch chapel would be in the central courtyard under a little roof. That meant it had to go OVER 2 walls to get it there. It fit through the first gate but not the other 2.

This is what we had been using for baptisms at the Kauma Branch chapel. Now they have a beautiful new font too that sits on the verandah outside the Relief Society room.
