Expansion!

And the walls came tumbling down! Both branches here in Lilongwe meet in rented houses that have large living rooms and enough other rooms to use for classes and offices. Both branches, especially Kauma branch have been bursting at the seams for Sacrament meeting. We got approval from the FM group and the landlord to move a couple of walls to expand the room so Monday morning they removed the windows/patio doors that opened onto the covered patio and moved them out to the outside to incorporate the space into the main room making a much larger chapel. They also removed as much of the dining room wall as they could to open that space too. They had to leave the support pillar that you see but it is so much better than it was before. We can comfortably seat over a hundred and twenty people, where before it was jammed at 100. Someday there will be a real chapel here!
